We’re delighted to report that thanks to our amazing supporters we were able to reach more families in 2025 than we have in over 6 years.
During the calendar year we:
- Reached 396 children (760 family members) through our family support delivery, helping to create the best possible start in life.
- Supported 204 families via tailored, non-judgemental support, helping them to build resilience and empower parents to raise their children to flourish.
- Recruited and trained 24 brand new volunteers to deliver family support across the county.
- Delivered 14 specialist subject training sessions for our existing volunteers, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to deliver impactful support for families.
We’d like to thank our grant providers, business supporters, individual givers, challenge eventers, community groups and fundraisers. It means so much that you choose to power our work with young children and families.
And to our brilliant staff team, trustees and volunteers, we simply couldn’t do this without you. You are truly the heart and soul of Home-Start Cambridgeshire.
And the biggest of thanks to the families who invite the Home-Start Cambridgeshire team to stand alongside them, often when they are at their most vulnerable. You inspire us every day.
We promise to continue to speak up for children and families in our county and strive to reach even more families in 2026.
