Celebrating One Year of the Big Hopes, Big Future Project
We are delighted to mark the first anniversary of Big Hopes, Big Future, our three-year initiative supporting children aged 2–4 and their families as they prepare for the transition into school life. The project is built on the belief that every child is unique, learns best through positive relationships, and develops in environments that recognise their individual pace, strengths, and needs.
About the Project
Big Hopes, Big Future is a cornerstone of our early-years support. Through tailored activities, volunteer support, and family-centred guidance, the project helps children build confidence, joy, and the skills they need for a positive start to their education.
Highlights from the First Year

For every £1 invested, the project generated £7.44 in social value — demonstrating the powerful impact of community-driven support.

44 trained volunteers have contributed their time, care, and specialist knowledge to prepare families for the transition to school.

89 families have benefited from personalised early-years support, helping children take their first steps towards school with confidence.

75% of parents reported increased involvement in their child’s development, strengthening long-term parental confidence.

89% of participating children showed improved skills that will help them thrive in a school setting.
