The first International Day of Play took place on 11th June which followed a campaign that called on the United Nations to promote play in the lives of children everywhere.
Play is crucial for development in children, it boosts physical health, enhances social skills and helps them understand the world around them. Through play, children learn to solve problems, navigate emotions and build resilience.
At Home-Start we know that play has the power to transform lives. We should make sure that we embrace the power of play today and every day!
