We were excited to participate at the Volunteer Fair that took place in Huntingdon on Saturday 20th June. The event was organised by Volunteer Cambs and hosted at Huntingdon Methodist Church. The fair ran from 10am – 1pm and welcomed members of the public who were interested in finding out more about volunteering in their communities.
Visitors were able to speak directly with organisations, ask questions about volunteering, and explore the many ways they could make a positive difference in their local communities. It was great to meet other organisations who offer quality volunteering opportunities and recognise the difference a few hours can make.
Our wonderful volunteers, Skaiste and Helen, joined to share their experience of volunteering with families. Thank you to them both for giving up their time to support the event.
