Inspiring New Volunteers at the Cambridge Volunteer Fair
We were excited to participate at the Volunteer Fair that took place in Cambridge on Saturday 25th April. The event was organised by Volunteer Cambs and hosted at Downing Place United Reformed Church. The fair ran from 11am–2pm, with a wide range of local charities and community groups that were represented on the day.
It was fantastic to see so much support for the fair, especially as this was the first time the event has been held since Covid.
Our wonderful volunteer, Kirsty Howat joined to share her experience and stories about volunteering with families. Together we spoke to many interested potential volunteers and had meaningful conversations about the impact of volunteering with Home-Start.
It was a very successful event, and we’re so grateful to Volunteer Cambs for providing this fantastic platform to meet potential volunteers.
